What Sets Our Daycare Apart
We know there are a lot of options for dog care out there. We also know daycare isn’t the best fit for every dog! Depending on social tolerance, play style, and just personal preference, each dog is different.
Here at Fur Seasons, we have designed a daycare program to best fit each individual dog. Our playgroups are crafted by a certified trainer and overseen by experienced pet professionals. Groups are tailored to size, temperament, play style, and energy level. We feature a large indoor play area and two large, securely fenced outdoor play areas, rotating groups throughout the day so everyone receives some outside time, then is able to play inside to warm up or cool off (depending on the weather). Our indoor space is divided into two or more groups depending on total number of dogs, providing everyone with a suitable playgroup. Dogs may be rotated between different groups for additional mental stimulation, socialization, and fun!
Your dog’s day is scheduled to prevent overstimulation with built-in breaks for rest and reflection. Dogs spend the morning playing, break for lunch & naps, then play until they are picked up. (Younger dogs, overstimulated dogs, or lower energy dogs may receive an additional “naptime” break as needed.)
Choose from our menu of tasty add-on offerings like a stuffed frozen Kong or licky mat to add even more mental stimulation to your pup’s day, and to help them wind down between play sessions!
Did you know? The natural act of licking relaxes a dog by releasing endorphins (a feel-good chemical in the brain), creating a sense of comfort and calm; the repetitive motion of licking also has a soothing effect on a dog's central nervous system, similar to how a repetitive human activity like knitting can be relaxing.
Have a less social pup? Explore our day-boarding options! We also offer a modified daycare experience “day-boarding” with one-on-one playtime with a handler, or if applicable a small, hand-curated groups of dogs based on your pup’s play style. Dogs relax in their private run with 1-2 outdoor playtimes during their stay with us. This option is beneficial to our selectively social pups, younger puppies not ready for daycare, or seniors who prefer extra rest and reflection time in between playtimes.
